Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
Ashley Delahaye has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island and Bachelor of Social Work Degree from St. Thomas University in Fredericton. Ashley is a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.
Ashley has experience working with children and families, facing issues related to parenting, maternal mental health, adjusting to parenthood, abuse and trauma, behavioural issues, intimate partner violence, separation and divorce. She can also provide support to families with loved ones experiencing serious or critical illness.
She practices with a strength based, solution focused approach and works collaboratively with her clients to navigate the challenges they are facing. She is a trained Facilitator for the Caring Dad’s program which aims to work with fathers who have abused or neglected their children or exposed them to domestic violence and has additional training in custody and access issues, court evaluations and parenting plans from William James College and Center of Excellence for Children, Families and the Law in Massachusetts.
I work with a strength based, solution focused approach and will work collaboratively with you. We will identify the challenges you are struggling with and build a plan through them together, drawing on your existing strengths, while helping you to develop new coping tools and skills.
I believe that we all struggle at times and need support and community to help us through those challenging seasons in our lives. I am here to work with you and advocate for you. I provide a safe, non judgemental and supportive environment.
Sessions are confidential.

Mental health and physical health are deeply connected. Those living with mental health challenges are at higher risk of experiencing many chronic physical conditions. Conversely, those living with chronic physical health conditions are more likely to experience poor mental health. Taking care of your mental health is a key part of taking care of your overall physical health and wellness. The link between body and mind is powerful.
