I provide a relaxing, empathetic environment that is approachable and optimistic. I provide evidence based services such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy. I understand the psychology of the mind and how mental health and trauma affects our lives. As a social worker, I have a deep understanding of how one’s upbringing, society, race, gender, disability and other factors influence our health. I take a solution-focused approach that is goal-oriented and collaborative. This often includes motivational interviewing and narrative therapy where we explore your capability for change.
I want to partner with you in working towards your biological, psychological, social and spiritual health. Appointments are confidential and non-judgemental. You don’t have to struggle alone, I can help you with solutions. Using mindfulness techniques, I can help you realize your existing strengths and provide you with tangible tools for mental well-being. I am available in the evenings for your convenience. I also provide case management and advocacy to help you attain appropriate services throughout the community.

Mental health and physical health are deeply connected. Those living with mental health challenges are at higher risk of experiencing many chronic physical conditions. Conversely, those living with chronic physical health conditions are more likely to experience poor mental health. Taking care of your mental health is a key part of taking care of your overall physical health and wellness. The link between body and mind is powerful.
