Meet Emma (She/Her)

Intern
Emma Peer has a passion for working with children, teens, and families and worked for five years as an elementary school teacher.
She taught in many different classrooms and school environments in PEI, New Brunswick, and Northern New Zealand. She has also worked with Autism Intervention Services.
Emma attended the University of Prince Edward Island, where she supported university students through their first years of secondary education as a residence advisor.
This work encouraged her to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education, in hopes of continuing to work with students as they go through their educational journeys.
Emma Peer is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
