My Approach

My Approach

I provide mental health counselling for children (ages 7 and up), teenagers, and adults who are facing challenges such as past trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and more. I believe that people are the experts of themselves but may need some support to see their strengths, grow and make changes. My aim is to offer that support in a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere, offering a safe space. We will figure out what that looks like for you, together.

I draw from a variety of frameworks including Humanistic Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy. I have training in trauma informed approaches and offer EMDR Therapy which can be useful for working through a variety of issues, including processing trauma, past childhood adverse experiences, anxiety, depression, and grief.

In sessions together, you can expect to learn coping strategies and gain new perspectives while working toward deeper change. Please feel free to reach out for a free consultation if you have any questions or want to discuss if we may be a good fit for each other.

"The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow. For every challenge encountered, there is opportunity for growth."
