Meet Kate (She/Her)


Kate Flood has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Francis Xavier University, a Masters in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, and is currently completing her Master of Social Work degree at Dalhousie University.

Kate has experience with narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy for children and youth, and motivational interviewing.


Kate is skilled in program facilitation for parents and families and has worked with a variety of agencies in the Saint John area on programming related to fostering healthy programming, substance use, and behavioural issues in families.


She enjoys working with people experiencing anxiety and other stressors related to toxic stress and trauma.

Clinical Theapist

Kate works with adults and young adults aged 14+ using a narrative therapy approach in conjunction with other modalities focused on anxiety, depression, and distress tolerance. She challenges her client's negative notions they might hold about themselves and practices from an anti-oppressive and empathetic lens.
