Clinical Social Worker / Therapist
Patricia Colepaugh attained her Bachelor of Social Work at St. Thomas University and her Masters of Social Work at Memorial University of Newfoundland and is in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.
In the 13 years Patricia has been a clinical social worker she has been assisting individuals who have struggled with various challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, codependency, and various addictions including gambling. She also has experience providing psycho- education and support to family members of individuals struggling with addictions and mental health.
Patricia is passionate about the work she does and takes a collaborative, non-judgemental, strengths-based approach to treatment. She uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. Clients have shared that they appreciate her sincerity and commitment to their well being.
Patricia realizes the importance of self care and rejuvenates herself by being in nature, reading and spending time with friends and family. Some of her strengths are that she is a life long learner, is enthusiastic and compassionate. She is available evening hours to meet client needs.

creating a genuine therapeutic connection with my clients. Compassion, understanding and trust are important aspects of my practice. Everyone faces a variety of challenges throughout life, I can help you develop new coping strategies, change unhelpful thinking patterns and work through difficult emotions.
I work from a holistic, strengths-based approach. I understand that people are unique and tailor sessions to each individual’s needs. My practice is evidence based and I provide services such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. As a social worker I understand how societal factors can impact our mental well-being and will work with you to address these concerns. I recognize that each client has the power and strength to overcome their challenges. We will work together to build upon these strengths to enact change.
Our appointments together are confidential and collaborative. I hope to work with you on your journey to mental well-being. I am available during days and evenings as I realize life can get busy.
