Meet Tawnya (She/Her)

Tawnya Fanjoy is a member of The College of Licensed Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. She is a Licensed Counselling Therapist.
Tawnya also is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is a Certified Canadian Counsellor. Tawnya works as a part-time virtual counsellor for Laura Gatien and Associates.
Tawnya received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John Campus, in 2006, her Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University Fredericton Campus in 2008, and she obtained her Doctorate of Education degree specializing in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2015.
Tawnya provides counselling services, using a Solution-Focused approach and CBT, to help adolescents, adults, and couples deal with issues related to anger, anxiety, loss/grief, depression, guilt, relationships, self-esteem, and stress. Tawnya also provides counselling services to clients who have learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and dysgraphia, as well as clients who have epilepsy.
