About Me
Hi! I’m Chloe, and I have been studying social work for over 6 years. Born and raised in Saint-John, New-Brunswick, I am passionate about helping others find strength and making meaningful connections. I graduated from my BSW at the Université de Moncton in New-Brunswick in 2024, and I will be graduating from my MSW at the University of Ottawa this spring. As a recent graduate, I am someone who loves learning new things, taking on new challenges, and helping people cope with life’s stressors and challenges.
My Approach
My approach to therapy lies in collaboration, trust, and safety. My go-to tool in therapy lies in a mindfulness practice to reinforce being in the present moment. During my studies, I have attained basic knowledge on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, SFBT, EFT, humanistic and trauma-informed. In addition, I incorporate a person-centred and a strength-based approach with clients. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and I am here to support them reach their life goals, normalize the human experience, and help them find safety in connecting with their thoughts, emotions, experiences and their relationships. I also use the social determinants of health as a guiding framework for my practice.
Who I see
I work with a range of ages, such as Young Adults (18+), Adults, and Elders (65+), and Couples. I value offering services in New-Brunswick’s official languages, both French and English.
My Practice
I am passionate about working with all ranges of individuals and couples aged 18+, meeting them where they may be, and respecting their needs. I support clients facing a range of challenges such as, but not limited to, burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, relationships, anxiety, depression, coping with a new diagnosis, grief and loss, sexual trauma, and gender-based violence.
