Meet Elizabeth Mayne(She/Her)

Clinical Therapist BA, BSW, MSW
Elizabeth Mayne is devoted to supporting clients in fostering their resiliency in a safe, and non-
judgemental environment. She has experience helping with older adults, anxiety, depression,
self-esteem, caregiver burnout, compassion fatigue, substance use and trauma.
She has been a practicing social worker for the last seven years. She has worked in various settings including social services, mental health and addictions, and the non-profit sector.
Elizabeth will work with you from a trauma-informed, strengths based and person-centered approach. She recognizes you are the expert of your life, making you the best person to make choices regarding your recovery and healing journey. She sees her role as a therapist as
collaborating, supporting, and empowering clients to overcome the various challenges that they
may face throughout the course of their life.
Elizabeth uses a combination of therapeutic modalities such as mindfulness, positive psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and motivational interviewing to help clients meet their goals for wellness.

Elizabeth is a Registered Social Worker and is in good standing with the New BrunswickAssociation of Social Workers. She holds, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from St. ThomasUniversity.
