About Me
Hi! My name is Molly and I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate (LCT-C) with a deep passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges. I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, where I first discovered my love for psychology, leading me to further my education by completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
My Approach
My approach to counselling is eclectic and integrative, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of each client. My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, to name a few.
I also use a strength-based approach by supporting my clients in recognizing and channeling their own emotional resilience to carry with them as a source of healing, growth and empowerment. I strive to help individuals cultivate lasting self-compassion and develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves.
Who I See
I work with adults, teens, and couples, offering individual and relationship therapy both in-person in Saint John and virtually across New Brunswick.
My Practice
I would describe my therapeutic practice as collaborative, inclusive and non-judgmental, as I see immense value in providing individuals with a safe space to feel seen and understood.
My goal is to create a welcoming and affirming space for people of all identities. I support clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more.
